Biography
Megan Marquette was born and raised in Kansas. She was surrounded by music since day one thanks to a very musical household. Megan developed her own love for music when she wrote and performed her first original song at the age of 16. "I've never known such a joy as music has given me. Whether it's through singing, writing, performing, or recording, I'm automatically taken to such a beautiful place. A place I never want to leave. I've traveled the world since leaving home in 2004, and my soul changes a bit with every new place, and I cherish the growth I feel with every new song I create."
Megan sings a style of music that brings R&B, Pop, Rock, and Jazz together and utilizes a combination of acoustic and electric instruments. She enjoys mixing an old school feel with a modern feel and adding a Kansas twist. Two of her biggest influences are Joss Stone and Adele.
